Groups in Univera Preferred Access Plans will be converted into Univera Access plans on their renewal in 2019. Univera Access plans offer the same benefits and coverage, a new name and access to our full Univera Access network.
Univera On Demand will be updated in September for package comparisons.
The package that will no longer be offered is classified as Uniform Modifications by the NY State Department of Finance.
Converting into a Univera Access plan is classified as Uniform Modifications by the NY State Department of Finance.
Details of a Uniform Modification include:
- Impacted groups DID NOT receive an Initial Rate Notice in June.
- Impacted groups WILL receive an Annual Rate Notice (ARN) 60 days prior to their renewal date.
- For groups with access to Information Connection a copy of the ARN will be available at that time.
- The ARN will include the new Univera Access plan name.
- Groups and members will automatically transition into the Univera Access package on the group’s renewal date.
- If the group would like to elect a different package, you should work with your Broker or dedicated Account Manager.
