As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the highest standards of digital security, we are updating our encryption protocols in line with industry standards and best practices. These changes to our enterprise file transfer service MAY impact SOME groups. Impacted groups will receive an email communication from us.
Below you will find a list of deprecated protocols and hash algorithms (HMACs). These will no longer be supported after August 25, 2024. We are also providing recommended actions to ensure there is no interruption in service.

- Ensure your systems are configured to support TLS v1.2 or v1.3.
- For TLS v1.2, configure your systems to use the stronger 256bit cipher suites.
- Disable SHA1 and MD5 HMACs.
- Test your systems to confirm compatibility with these updates, using our test system at secure-tst.lifethc.org.
