Updated Retiree Group Drug Plan Certificate of Coverage

Throughout the month of May, group administrators and members of group sponsored Medicare Advantage Plans that include Part D drug coverage (MAPD) or Prescription Drug Plans (PDP) will receive an updated Retiree Group Drug Plan Certificate of Coverage. The certificate will be mailed to group administrators first, followed by the mailing of the certificate to members.

The Retiree Group Drug Plan Certificate of Coverage outlines the prescription drug coverage enrollees receive through their EGWP (Employer Group Waiver Plan) plan. There are no changes to the benefits or the way the benefit is administered. It is a New York State requirement to send this certificate to all members when it is updated and to any new members when they first enroll; we are mailing the updated Retiree Group Drug Plan Certificate of Coverage because language has been added and/or updated from the original certificate.

If you have any questions or require further information regarding this document please contact your Broker or Account Consultant.
