Univera Healthcare and its corporate parent are seeking a total of about 90 college student interns for Summer 2019 positions at locations in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Utica. The 10-week paid internships are offered through the health insurer's Diversity & Inclusion Summer College Internship Program, and run from June to August 2019.
"To qualify for an internship at Univera, a student must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at the time of the internship," said Brandy Bauza, Univera director of talent acquisition. "Students are encouraged to apply for these competitive internships as soon as possible since positions close as candidates are selected."
Summer internship positions currently available at Univera and its parent company include jobs in finance, information technology, analytics, strategy, clinical, and customer operations. Additional internship positions in marketing, human resources, legal, community health engagement, corporate communications, and more will be available over the next couple of months.
